It’s been an honor to serve my community with in-person yoga classes for the past several years. Now, it’s with great joy that I offer you my online course, Yoga for Nervous System Regulation.
Just like my in-person classes, this self-paced program uses yoga, breathwork, and meditation to develop better nervous system regulation. Through this work, we can become more at home in our bodies and find deeper satisfaction in our lives.
When “Nervous System Regulation” became buzzwords, I realized NSR is exactly what Patanjali intended in his Yoga Sutras. So, this program is simply yoga itself, with its emphasis on somatic awareness of mind and body.

The Nervous System is the mechanism for mind-body connection, and works tirelessly in the background every moment of our lives to keep us alive and safe, but its default modes – learned during childhood or via trauma – don’t always serve us well amidst the challenges of the modern world.
When you learn to engage with your NS in an intentional way, you will be able to soothe your stress responses, tend to the needs of your body/mind, and find resilience both on and off the mat.
My methods are firmly rooted in the yoga of Patanjali’s sutras. That said, this is a secular program informed by modern neuroscience and psychology.
Yoga for Nervous System Regulation is beneficial for all humans and accessible to students of all levels. If you can sit in a chair and watch TV, you can participate in these classes! If you’re interested in Yoga for Nervous System Regulation but have mobility, vision, or hearing challenges, send me an email. I’ll help you adapt the practice or point you towards other resources that may be useful.
Some of us—including me—are highly sensitive (SPS/HSP trait) and need this support even more. KMKyoga wants to serve my companions in the neurodivergent community. A calm, clear presentation keeps the focus on what’s important – learning skills to navigate a highly stimulating and often stressful world with greater ease and joy.
As always, I’m offering this course on a pay-what-you-can basis. If you’re unable to afford yoga right now, please join us for free. If you have the means, I invite you to donate what you can to support this program and our community. Our Tiered Giving System will help you determine an appropriate amount.
To thank our most generous donors, I’ll create a personalized guided meditation recording for you – and a second one in your honor for another student in need of personalized support.
Subscribe to my newsletter to get the latest KMKyoga updates, plus insights about yogic tradition, meditation, neuroscience, and more, in your inbox. I send roughly 1-2 emails per month, and you can unsubscribe any time.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me via the comments section at the bottom of each class page, or by sending me an email at kath@kmkyoga.org. I would love to hear your thoughts and answer any questions you may have.
I’ll be sharing teaser content and answering your questions via email and the KMKyoga Instagram account. Don’t miss an update or an opportunity to learn and connect.
